Commodity Issue Not Allowing Conversion?

So I went into my dealer today to figure out why he hasn't converted mine yet after we have talked about it a few times over the phone and email. He said he has been trying but the system won't let him. We sat down again and tried it. It showed an error for "commodity unavailable". Anyone have any insight as to what is going on here? He has my updated license and everything already. I am just trying to get this order in so I can stop stressing about getting it in lol. Is he accidentally trying to place it as a new order? Makes no sense to me.

Not sure if it helps but when the dealer put mine in he said there was a message about constraints. They were still able to put the change in.

It's sounding like they may being doing something special for MY 2023 order/reservation conversions.

I'm not sure if others watched the video. But there was revealing information about Price Protection for MY'23 that has not been mentioned before.

We have all gone on the supposition that the MY'23 PP cert would be based on the previous locked build for MY'22 (logical). In the MY'23 Order Holder FAQ, Ford was clear that they were allowing switching of the order and it would not negate PP. The only models not eligible for PP were the Limited HE and Raptor. Ford was going to extend PP for all other trims and changed orders.

This dealer stakeholder reveals that Ford will base the MY'23 PP cert on the new build profile but will retroactively compare the price of the same/similar build from when you originally ordered to ascertain what the value of the MY'23 PP cert will be.
