I'm not usually "one of those guys" but at a minimum I'd be calculating the monthly payment on the shitboxes they're giving you and subtract it from yours and be demanding that back. We're talking thousands at this point.

If the booster vacuum line is the concern, you’ll still have brakes, they just won’t be power. But you’ve been out of it for six months?!?!?! Most booster vacuum lines are just reinforced rubber hose.
