confused on build date

Hey everyone, new member here.

So I was very excited because I thought my Bronco was being built this week but after reading some of the posts here I am doubting that info is correct. Originally my dealer said June 3rd but then after the news of the May plant shutdowns I asked again and they said June 14th. Reading here though I am doubting that as it is not a 1st Edition and you all seem to know that only 1st Editions are being built this week. I am in Canada so there is almost no communication from Ford, everything I am getting is from my local dealer and you know how that goes.

I have an Outer Banks (Area51) ordered, had my reservation in about 10 minutes after they opened last summer! Always been a huge fan of the original Bronco's and been wanting this vehicle since seeing the concept at the North American Auto Show in Detroit back in 2004.

So who knows....guess I'm waiting impatiently all summer hoping it shows up

Scheduling is different then the actual building. There is no conflict here

First editions are not being built first. It will be a mix of all trims. The only accurate information you’ll get will be from your dealer.

Scheduling decides when it will be built in the future, yours was scheduled probably a month ago, scheduling FEs for other people (in the future) this week has no impact on building yours. They're are not limited to building only FEs this week, only scheduling them for future building in a month or two.

My "build" week has changed a few times now, see signature. I'd check with your dealer every couple of weeks.

Good luck Brian, I hope you get yours built this week. My build finally settled out to be an Area 51 OBX also. Here's one for you to look at until yours arrives. I'll probably get mine sometime next year, so I'll have this picture worn out by then.

just talked to my dealer and got a new production date of June 16th! Don't mind this slight delay as now it lands on my birthday so kinda fitting lol.

June 14 was probably your build week and June 16th is your build day. If you have your VIN (if not, your dealer can give it to you) you can pull up the window sticker here (add the VIN after the = sign) since it's been available since last Wednesday (they generate 7 days before the build day):
