I have had that conversation with no less that 6 people, basically all have said the same, “Hey I saw a Bronco, when you getting yours?”

Some of my friends still don't get it. I get a lot of, "I can't believe you're selling your Jeep to get a Bronco! They look awful and you can't even pull the top off!"

It's kind of exhausting explaining the difference all the time, so I don't if I can avoid it. I usually just say, "The Bronco isn't out yet. Google it. That's an upgraded escape."

I actually like the sport though, and would drive one as a secondary vehicle when my Bronco is no longer a daily driver and just a toy. But I will probably end up with a Ranger or F-150 instead.

They're going to have the same problem with the Mustang Mach-E
Hows that, people going to take pics of every Mustang out there and send it to friends ordering the Mach-E?

In 6 to 8 months, it won't be an issue....except for the "Why do they even call the Sport a Bronco?" questions, which is the issue the issue Mach E already has.

That’s the whole point. Every time it happens, Jim Farley smiles at the earned (free) media, and a Mustang angel gets its wings.

Uh no, but ppl ordering Mach E will definitely get questions from non gear head ppl just because it's got Mustang in the name. Just a dumb marketing move by Ford IMO.

Honestly, I think Ford should have just called it the Escape and the current Escape should have just taken its European twin's name, the Kuga.

Until the real-deal Bronco comes out there's just going to be a lot of confusion going forward. Most people out there old enough to remember know the difference between a Bronco and a Bronco II.

Having seen a couple Bronco Sports rolling around, I can see how it'll be confusing since your eyes are immediately drawn towards the headlights and the BRONCO in the grille.

The Mustang is the fourth-most Googled car among car shoppers. Imagine if there was a practical, electric version of the Mustang that makes people interested? That's Ford's reasoning.

It's driving me crazy! I love that graphic above though. May need to steal it.

Based on a lot of posts and full threads on this forum - I think even bronco 6g members are super confused what the difference is.
