Is the only difference the height? I’m planning on installing fishing pole tube holders - so, was already worried about ground clearance.
Here is a link you can get a little more info:
https://www.etrailer.com/question-80046.html
Main Diff:
The # C18153 is slightly larger at 24 x 60 than the other which is 20 x 60-inches. It also has an angled shank to provide 2-inches more ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. The # C18153 also provides more clearance from the hitch pin hole on your receiver: 9-inches when folded up and 19-inches when in the down position, as compared to 6- and 16-1/2-inches for the # C18151. The # C18153, due to its larger size, also extends out from the rear of your Expedition a bit further: 44-1/4-inches versus 37-1/2inches.

I like these things, it comes in handy for if you’ve got the vehicle full of people and pets and have minimized the interior cargo room. I’ve already got one but have contemplated how it’s going to work with the swing out door. I’ve actually thought about one of the swing out extensions on the top of this page.. https://www.etrailer.com/search/Swing+Away+Adapter
And they seem like a great (if not a bit pricey) solution. Figured it would work on the bike rack I have as well.
pretty cool

Ive hauled transmissions and axles for an offroad buggy on one..

coolers full of ice and meat..

firewood..
anvils (nobody tailgated me...it was odd)

I have the one with the rise in it and also a straight..I put lights on it after I almost had someone hit me when I had my motorcycle on the carrier and it hid the brakelights...

I also have front hitch on my van so I plan on a front hitch for the bronco (winch goes in whatever end I need it)

these are the lights on it...

Here's my cargo basket setup. Not the most ideal, but good enough for me. You can get everything from Amazon.

One thing to note. The tailgate light was wired to have the pigtail on the driver side. It came with a female 4 pin adapter to hardwire to the vehicle harness so I used that extra length of wire to reverse the blinker signals. That way I could put the pigtail on the right side to allow the basket to swing open.

Very nice! I have an old Rola carrier that I used on my FJ. It's been stowed at the back of the garage for about a decade now. I'll need to look into a swing-to-side adapter and see how the Rola is on the Bronco.
