Curt Folding Hitch Mounted Basket from Ford Performance - anyone buy / install yet?

Has anyone with a non-sas bought the Curt folding hitch basket from Ford Accessories? Wondering if the hitch gate will clear the basket when opening or if you need to add a drop receiver.

While expensive and not the answer to your question, I have a pivot bracket for my bike rack and it works very well. I didn't even know it existed until my buddy got one for his Jeep.

I got the yakima version of that. Works great with my bike rack
