Locking front hubs are not the same as a locking front differential. Every Bronco has automatic locking front hubs just for 4wd capabilities. A locking front differential allows power to be distributed to both wheels even when one loses traction.

It remains to be seen if these front hubs retain the automatic lock capabilities plus providing manual locking capabilities, or if it's just a manual locking front hub.
You're right they're not the same, got a little conflated pre-coffee. But the Bronco is not getting automatic locking hubs. The Bronco is cutting power to the front wheels at the transfer case not the hubs.

So as is, when in 2WD the wheels will still turn the axles and front diff. If you use these locking hubs and put it in free-wheel the axles won't rotate.

For those waiting for Ford to do something cool (i.e., Heritage, Warthog, etc.), haven't you suffered enough?!
Good to know that the aftermarket will be ripe with products. Good to know that all I need is Ford to finally put one in my driveway and I can do the rest....

That rig looks pretty Bad A$$!
Agreed. I’m glad they’re using OBs for a bunch of these builds. I think it could go a long way to addressing the typical elitism we see in these communities, and point out that every Bronco is capable. (Opposed to the Sahara / Rubicon trims on the Jeep side... where the former is seen as a “poser”)

This is freaking awesome. I’m so stoked on the ARB one. The article didn’t mention it but I’m assuming that means we’ll have an application specific compressor mount ready to go.

Edit: appears they have a twin motor mounted in the engine bay. Awesome!

Heritage or Warthog...... I'm waiting on Ford to build a Bronco! Especially in quantities that would allow all of us to get one this decade!

I know right! I've been pulling back a bit to wait on the Warthog, but man! This makes it really hard! The fender flare delete is the BOMB! It's gonna take some close measuring to see if it's actually legal in my state! FWIW, I just got back from Florida. They all seem to run super-wide stances with over 4-6" of tire hanging out of the fender well! I know that's not possible here in Minnesota! But... The look is right!
Yeah I moved to MN from Texas and was floored by some of the dumb rules they have here like that

This video is great. Finally some accessories to get excited about (looking at you Bushwacker). The 4WP looks awesome with the fender flare delete and decals. I hope the flare deletes are available when I take delivery.
