Interesting, sounds like they are going to flash the wiper motor to raise the allowable resistance. I haven't seen the slowdown in sometime now, but if it comes back I might look into this.

As someone with this issue it is more annoying then anything. Constantly having to adjust the speed to get the wipers to go faster. Glad it is going to be fixed, hopefully...

I must live under a rock! I thought the wipers going slow "sometimes" was a feature. Huh, don't know if was an issue. I'll look forward to the update. 😀

What's wrong with my wipers? They seem to work fine.
Doesn’t seem to affect all Broncos. Mine are fine also. There are plenty of threads regarding the issue though.

I want to know what the hell a "flash box" is.
You guys didn't get one yet?
We had one show up like 30 mins after I posted this. I'll post a picture of what it looks like

I can think of a few things but then I would be on Doug's shit list. I'll pass for now. 😁

I agree that most of the time it is an annoyance. However, driving a manual, I’ve had a couple of instances where the wipers went to the slowest intermittent setting during fairly heavy rain while I was shifting with my right and starting a turn with my left. It was a bit of an uncomfortable juggling act trying to get a hand on the stalk to turn the wipers back up while not being able to see even if for just a couple of seconds.
