So for the last month I’ve been testing CV Fab’s downpipes on my 2021 2.7 Black Diamond with stock exhaust.
First off. Well made and a perfect fit. Everything matched up and bolted up perfectly. As far as performance, the output is noticeable. You can feel it! The turbos are more noticeable spooling up now, and right around 4-5th gear, I feel like the exhaust notes just sing power. After over 300 miles, no check engine lights, and no issues.
As far as any cons, nothing with these pipes. What it took to get the factory downpipes removed was tricky. Without just cutting them, it is a chore. Taking the cross bracing off from around the transmission, removing some skid plates, and a ton of bolts took a few hours, but once removed, these bolt right up without any issue, and match up seamlessly.
Overall, very pleased! The engine seems like it can really exhale now. CV Fab got it right!
