Dealer said Ford 'Previewed but didn't 'pull for Prod' my order??

My dealer rep called me last Thursday and said, "Ford previewed your order but didn't Pull for Production'. I had never heard of 'Previewed' step. I discussed 'Previewed' with her and came to an agreement that Ford Previewed to see if they had everything needed to Pull for Production but - didn't. We assume this means they're putting my order on the 'short list' for build when they get the last few remaining items needed. Anyone ever here of this 'Previewed' thing? My build: 2dr, Badlands, 2.7/10spd, Mid, Vel. Blue, non-squatch. I'm we're right, perhaps I'll get pulled for production week of 1/28 or the following couple of weeks. Anyone? Tks - Seahund

I've heard of it previewing but I took that to mean that your vehicle has already been scheduled for production. Do you have a date? I have the same build as you except I have high package and oxford white color.

Tks - I don't have a date. Since they're not 'scheduling' until after the holiday, I'll have to check again on 3/6/22.... ?

Yea, I would wait till after the holiday. They will begin scheduling again and maybe your initial analysis is right on and you will be next of the 2 doors to be scheduled.

What the dealer said is correct. Ford previews orders to see if they have all the parts. Some people have been previewed and then scheduled shortly thereafter, but some have been previewed several times before getting scheduled.

According the Tim Bartz from Long McArthur Ford a preview is Ford looking to see if your build fits what they are scheduling (parts) and also if your dealer has a allocation.

I'd recommend Tim's weekly (Tuesday night) Youtube videos, lots of great information about what's being scheduled and what constraints are out there.

Having both EL Diffs and the sway bar disconnect. I figured, this is my first new vehicle and would rather 'have the options and not need them than, need them and not only not have them', but regret not getting them out of the factory. 72 months will pay for either

Tks Shark. I have watched a couple of his. Early one was talking through all the trims, later one, maybe a month ago was detailing some of the high on the list constraints. At this point, since they're finally building 2drs, I think I'll be ok for getting scheduled by end of Jan and built by end of March. (Thumbs Up)

Definitely hanging... I know it will be worth it. I'm patient, although addicted to the Bronco YouTube porn (as my wife calls it). I don't think there's a 2dr or Badlands or Black Diamond video (or All Terrain Nation) I haven't watched or listened to. I've already ordered & received to products to install when my Bronco arrives and I'll be ordering one item monthly until it does. Definitely ordering the JBL speaker to hang on the 'C' pillar (or the rear crossbar of the roll cage) (Thumbs Up)

I was "previewed" 3 weeks ago. Did not get scheduled. Scheduling takes place on THURSDAYS. The 2nd week after being previewed, dealer told my I have a build date of 2/21/22. You will also get your VIN at the time you are scheduled. What is strange is all the trackers did not show I was scheduled. My dealer sent me an email that showed my build date. But the ford online system does not show it.. Ford confirmed my build date and VIN over chat feature. I image you will get your scheduled date during the next scheduling period after the holidays.
