Did anyone else only get one key fob?

I picked up my Bronco about 7 weeks ago now. Got it from Healey Ford in Goshen, NY. At the time, they said that it only came with one key fob, probably due to either chip shortage or manufacturing issues. It's the special "Bronco" key fob, instead of the generic "Ford," but essentially just says Bronco on it.

I was initially told I could "just come back next week" but they haven't been able to get me a second one. Has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering how long I might have to wait, or just get a generic Ford fob.

No. They stole or lost it and lied to you. Or maybe were too incompetent to notice they only received one on delivery and lied to you.

No bueno either way.

Go unlock your door, put your key fob back in the house or at least 5 feet away from the bronco. Get in, see if it starts. Likely fell under the seat, between Jockeying between transport, dealership, M.A.P accessories? Or the mountain storage lot, seasonal name change?

Go back to that dealership and demand your two key fobs.

They should've filed a misbuilt claim when it was dropped off, assuming they caught it, which it sounds like they didn't or would've had the replacement there when you took delivery. If they didn't catch, it's on them it will be coming out of their pockets now. It happens to the best of us but have never figured out if it gets lost at the plant or during transport.

That's actually not a terrible idea , but wouldn't the Bronco not lock with the fob in it? I haven't really fooled around with what the truck will/won't do with two fobs around it.

Good question, I know it won’t lock with 1 in it. But from a second that it just had “seen” in the vehicle I guess your the beta tester.

they gave me three fobs. did you get two keys in writing along with msrp pricing?

j/k. pretty sure every new car gets issued two keys, mistake or loss somewhere.
