I'm looking at the table below and it seems to me that the HOSS suspension would be the same one included in the Squatch package available to all models.

So, If I just order the 10 speed with the 4.46 with the Badlands, I can assume that adding 35s would make it have the same ride height as the Squatch and that they would clear exactly the same. (crash bars removed) Different fenders shouldn't matter at all.

I would replace the stock tires from the Badlands anyways.

Has this been discussed? I couldn't find it.

The difference in final gear ratio, as I figured it is: Squatch (4.7) would be 67.8 and the 4.46 would end up at 64.3. To me that's not enough to justify the Squatch package. Badlands comes with lockers already.

The difference is 2495 bucks. I know that includes the beadlocks and 35s.

This this this this this.

@North7 amazing thread will reveal all.

OP, the short answer: The BL and Sas suspension has similar position sensitive Bilsteins, but the ride height *is* different.

That said, you can absolutely put 35s on your stock BL if you want... there's a few concerns around when and how they might rub and what you could do about it.. but you know...

Is your question what you would need to worry about if you put 35s on the BL, or are you wondering if the Sasquatch package on the BL is "worth it?"

Right. The ratio is similar, the ride height is the same. I'd would be paying the extra for the tires/wheels for the most part.

Yeah, the Sas on the BL gets you a little more clearance for the 35s, but also limited travel... but really what you're paying for is the wider and different offset wheels and the 315s.

Basically if you are happy with those wheels and tires, Sas-ing the BL is a "good value"... but if you would just be getting rid of them for a different set of wheels and tires, there's no sense in paying for those things twice... (but you'd be lacking that little bit extra lift).

Come on now. . .
Okay, maybe not shot but the debate raged on for months. I think the final consensus is that Squatch is about 1/2" higher. Read through @North7 's thread for some good info. Me, I finally ditched Squatch on my BL as I plan to go bigger than 35's. I did opt for the optional BL wheels though.

Does the Non Sasquatch Badlands come with bilstiens or not? I know in the other trims you have to get Sasquatch package to get the bilstiens. The badlands and outer banks I saw the Badlands non sas clearly was higher off the ground compared to outer banks. Didn’t think to check shocks.
