After reading a bunch about tire sizes I have shelved my Sasquatch plans and leaning towards 33s on the OBX. But...stock are 32s and the only published option I've seen are the Squatch 35s. Will 33s be a Ford option?
On Badlands.

For the OBX, do you think 33s vs 32s would make a difference on road noise or MPG? Looking to slightly spice up the highway cruiser.

Just googled 32s vs 33s....A Wrangler JK poster said his mpg went from 19.5 to 17, but thats comparing a stock JK 31 to 33. So maybe only 1-2 mpg loss going from a 32 to 33?

Honestly I like the 33's look better.
Agree 100%
Without significant mods I think the size/articulation of the 33" tires will be the best overall solution off-road and still be reasonable on pavement.

I think that those MPG loss numbers seem reasonable to me.

Is that because of actual economy loss or because it wasn't calibrated to the new tire size?

Tires are heavier, causes engine to work harder to turn them, which decreases mpg. Calibration usually not required until you go over a 35” tire in my experience.

I THINk...If you didn’t calibrate, (assuming actual 32” and 33” tires and vehicle was calibrated for 32”) you would have traveled 6% further in distance On your 33s than your vehicle displayed, so actually would have gotten 18 mpg, not 17mpg. So valid question for the comparison
