Shock skids. I bent both pretty bad and almost punctured the passenger shock.

Thanks! And you mentioned you took this set as well? https://www.asfir.com/skid-plate-599662.html
Yes I love those...a must IMHO because my crossmember seemed to be taking on numerous scrapes...more so than the other low hanging fruit. Those took about 10 minutes to install. I like ASFIR because their stuff fits with our OEM plates. Did you find the discount code?

If you get the tranny skid while you are at it you should get the t-case additional bracket (if you have the OEM t-case skid plate).

I got the whole set for about $700 and change.....good prices and made really well. The rear diff skid is not pictured.....but here it is on their website:

Note: For the Badlands 2 door 2.3 MT.... things are different.

There is no gear crossmember arm to cover up - so don't order that part if you don't have an arm to put it on.

Also, on mine, the rear radius trailing arm has factory armor welded on already, so the ASFIR does not fit - nor does it appear to be necessary.

The gearbox cover works as does the rear shock protector.

Ahh it must be MT vs. AT for the crossmember thing...ASFIR tested it on a 2.7 so it was AT: https://www.asfir.com/skid-plate-599662.html

Yep, it's the MT. ASFIR alerted me to that possibility. The armor on the radius trailing arm might be a badlands without wild track thing (it appears untested on the 2.3), but, I am not sure.
I have the Badlands with that reinforcement welded on the trailing arm forward mount and I wish there was something that would bolt on that is steel and not aluminum that I could slide over rocks with that was easy to install.

As others have said, protecting the venerable transmission pan was a big priority for me. went with Barnes 4WD shock skids and ARB plates on my Badlands.
