I'll probably go with the Baja Designs S2 Pro with the Wide Cornering lense. I'll aim them off to the side since I don't need them for double duty. And I can put both left and right on the same upfitter switch, probably SW5.

Brahian, you guys don't give ELS scores for the S2 Pro.

Thanks! I didn't find it under the description for the S2 Pro or any of the S2 pods.

Thank you for pointing that out! I'll work with my team to get that updated on the product page. Just seems like we missed it in the S2 pro Description.

I use a set of wild horses revolution 5" lights on the A pillar and I really like them. I haven't really noticed any increase in wind noise and I was able to mount them right into the accessory bolt holes, or you can use the bracket that they send with it.

Update for the thread I ended up going with some white diode dynamics SS3 Max combos. I live in Missouri so local and American made is pretty awesome. Also even though it wasn’t something I considered the trail running backlights ended up being a pretty sweet bonus. Thanks for all the input guys it helped me out a bunch!

Anyone know where I can pick up mounting hardware for some SS3s? I picked up 4 of them off of Facebook this morning without mounting hardware. I am also looking for some good mounts if anyone has recommendations.

@4x4TruckLEDs.com - ordered a wiring harness from you guys as well.

Typical ditch light location next to the mirrors. I saw that kit you linked on the site, but I only needed the wiring plus the screws and locking washers. I have the main bracket

Obviously, ace hardware will have the screws but I was looking for an elevated mount to keep reflection of the hood/fenders to a minimum.

Sorry not sure I understand what you need. You technically don't need a-pillar brackets to mount SS3 to the a-pillars. It's recommended but not required.

Our A-Pillar brackets are here if you already have the SS3 brackets: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-a-pillar-ditch-light-brackets-for-2021-ford-bronco-pair/

Elevated brackets will not help with glare off the hood, as they are only being elevated a few inches.

We sell the SDHQ ones but again, it won't help with glare. OUR brackets help that ugly gap on the cowl though.

You might ask DV8 if the Baja Designs lights will fit on their drop mount. They might look a little odd that way, but should solve your glare problem. They'd allow you to mount your lights off to the side below the hood line.

https://dv8offroad.com/collections/...cts/6th-gen-bronco-a-pillar-dual-light-mounts

Back in the 1970s some cars came from the factory with matte black hoods. They were to protect the driver from sun glaring off the hood, plus styling.

I think it started with the 1969 Mustang Mach 1. They got the idea from military aircraft.

It was a trend that went away after a few years.

I run Rigid 360. I have a dual setup with flood and spotlights. I have them mounted on the rigid dual mount for the A-pillar.

I had one issue with Rigid lights, and they took care of it swiftly. Sent a new set to immediately. Their customer service is top-notch.

Historically I am a Baja Designs guy.

My current ditch light set up is the MoriMoto 2banger, they OK at best. I went with these because I wanted a small pod and liked their little bracket that pushed the pod back and tucked it closer to the A-pillar.

That said if I did it again I’d go back to my roots and go with Baja Designs S2 Pro.
