Ditch lights

So, I just ordered a new LOD front bumper so I can mount my winch and get it out of my living room. I ordered Baja Designs pods to fit the bumbler wholes. I would like to mount my KC LED round lights on my pillars. My question is how these would hold up to automatic car wash as I drive in lots of snow and salt in the mountains of Utah, so I wash it a lot to get salt off. They were fine on the front bumper on my jeep but not sure about being on the hood. Thanks

I assume it's not a "touchless" joint? I'd think they'd be at least knocked out of alignment when the rotating brush from hell hits them.

I just installed mine this week and am opting to cancel the carwash subscription. Not wanting to beat the lightning around.

I’m just gonna have to fire up the power washer for the undercarriage.

@Fastmc25, very crafty. Are those Hella BM light bars? Did you do the Forscan cornering light gig? How about that mount?

No forscan. Wired each flood to individual Upfitter switch so i can select as needed

I run mine with ditch lights on the A pillar through touch car washes probably weekly. No issues.

Thanks never had a problem on the front of the jeep but it was attached to the bull bar.

Now you show that, it may not be any more exposed to the spinning wheel of death on the bull bar than being nestled in the hood/windshield/mirror nook. My vote, let her rip tatter chip!

only way mine gets cleaned is through the touchless drive thru…no problems over the last couple years…

Our LED Off-Road Side Mirrors would also be a great solution if you're worried about car wash damage, but you really shouldn't have an issue with ditch lights... just make sure the KC's are IP69K rated so you don't have to worry about water intrusion.
