Despise the lack of communication, I suspect a cash flow problem as well. I can’t even request a cancellation of the order as nobody will respond. I have called my bank and going through them to hopefully recover my money.

Great guys, awesome products, but SUCK at shipping lead times and responding to inquiries regarding orders, but they are quite clear about this!

I was willing to wait, and for me it was the right choice. It’s not like the parts they sell are function critical and prevent the bronco from being driven.
But was your wait 9 months? I keep seeing this from people who received their order, but last year the wait times were only like 4-5 months, and they were communicating on this forum and answering emails. For the past few months they went dark on here, their social media, and nobody is responding to emails.

I ordered a set of stirrups last year and got them in something like 5 weeks, maybe?

Worth the wait IMO, but if they keep this kind of stuff up nobody will bother waiting.

You guys have no empathy. Do you realize how much maintenance on a Ferrari costs?!

How can anyone expect him to pay his taxes or Bronco6g sponsorship when he has these expenses?!

Instead, it seems like my order would just pay for materials for the other folks that have already ordered before me.
You can probably attribute part of the delays to him designing and making custom wheels for his personal Ferrari over the summer. :rolleyes:

If he had just used the money he spent on the (IMO, gaudy) truck to hire a customer service rep instead, nobody would likely be making posts like this.

They do make great products, but it seems they don't do so well on the whole "communicating with customers" part of running a business. Personally, I had reasonable turn around on any inquiries I made regarding production timing and delivery dates, but that was over a year ago.

Hoping Curtis can get to a place where he communicates better(hopefully there are not any other issues). Their products are good and they make things not many other vendors do. Their stuff is nice and those that complain will miss the products if they go away, as will others.

Having said that he really needs to get his comms going again, and be honest about actual lead times. There are enough satisfied customers who will vouch for the products and wait. But the good will he has created will only go so far. If buyers feel good the products will arrive and lead times are communicated with good updates, he can likely get into peoples good books here

Personally, I really want a set of Archetype's running boards, because they're one of the best looking ones out there and appear to be well built.

I will not, however, subject myself to the ADV style of doing business. Keep in mind ADV also marketed a good looking and well built product, taking payments in advance of having product on hand while citing long lead times.

You all obviously see how well that worked out.
