Thankyou for the heads up. I've only used a damp microfiber up till now Ive not needed to clean it. I'll not be using armor all when I do need to clean it.

There is a difference between the Armorall cleaning and protectant wipes.
A lot of folks jumped on the anecdotal evidence without acknowledging/being aware of the difference.
I've used the cleaner for 25+ years on many different vehicles with only positive effects.

Whoa! I've been using the ones with the ceramic protective mixed in since last July. I haven't seen anything like this yet. Guess I'll switch it out

Use a damped microfiber towel to clean interior works best.

The chemicals from all the cleaning products out there put an oily/hazy film inside your windshield and windows when the car is baked under the sun.

That's what that's from? I thought it was driving with the windows down.

Yeah. In my old vehicles it was from smoking but I've never smoked in the bronco.

Off gassing. Can be due to the products you use, but also just happens naturally with plastics in high heat situations. Can also occur with smoking.
Like many have said, Aero 303 is the way. I have also had good luck with Chemical Guys Natural Shine Dressing.

I wouldn't use the Amour-all to wipe my ass. Swiffer duster to get the heavy stuff followed by damp microfiber wipe down.

It's crazy that armorall is still in business. It has been common knowledge in the auto detailing industry to avoid this company at all costs. It RUINS plastics.

Use Aerospace 303 on everything plastic, rubber, or vinyl (except headlights).
303 works great on the inside but I've found it leaves streaks on the side panels, flares and top. Great for toneau covers and vinyl.
I found Turtle Wax, LIQUID SPRAY on Carnauba works great. No film and any overspray on paint or windows buffs to a nice shine.

From the owner's manual:

CLEANING THE INTERIOR

CLEANING THE INSTRUMENT PANEL

WARNING
: Do not use chemical solvents or strong detergents when cleaning the steering wheel or instrument panel to avoid contamination of the airbag system. We recommend that you only clean the instrument panel and cluster lens with a damp soft cloth.

Dry the area with a clean, soft cloth. For additional information and assistance, we recommend that you contact an authorized dealer.

Note: Avoid cleaners or polishes that increase the gloss of the upper portion of the instrument panel. The dull finish in this area helps protect you from undesirable windshield reflection.

CLEANING PLASTIC

We recommend that you only use a mild soap and water solution on a soft cloth. Dry the area with a clean, soft cloth.

CLEANING DISPLAYS AND SCREENS

We recommend that you only use a microfiber cloth in a circular motion to clean off the fingerprint or dust. If dirt or fingerprints are still on the screen, apply a small amount of alcohol to the cloth and try to clean it again.

Note: Do not pour or spray alcohol onto the touchscreen.

Note: Do not use detergent or any type of solvent to clean the touchscreen.

Yes, ANYTHING ArmorAll is not good. Armor All actually dries out plastic and, vinyl and rubber. 303 products are much better and donā€™t contain silicone and make everything feel greasy.
