Hopefully I'm missing something at $795.. a couple shock skids and a plastic bushing should be cheaper than that. The tie rod braces are just paperweights.

'Twould appear inflation has struck the rack bushing market since I paid a lowly company $50 and got both sides a while back before they were bullied out of the free market game

bronc-bully buster has nothing but overpriced JUNK. Since you must be new, I'll lay it out for you...

Tyler copied Joe Darlington's original tie rod Shieldz that were built back in 2000. Then he tries to sue folks that copy his own blocks of aluminum. No attempt on his part to make real tie rods, ( like Icon, RC, and Dorman) just Band-Aids. Most of his Target demographic is social media newbies that don't know any better than to buy his junk. Seasoned off-roaders and hardcore four-wheel drivers know better than to buy his garbage.

I figured it was better to just buy spare tie rods that are significantly cheaper and don't push the problem to a more critical location.

Woah holy cow $800 for that?

Grab a whole tie rod field repair kit from TrickyDick for $100
Grab the Barnes shock skids for $100

The bushings... yeah - used to be $50 from RC until recently. No way I'd pay BB $350 they are asking, let alone the $800 for this kit.

Save the other $600 and put it in your pocket for HOSS 3 steering rack later on - you're halfway there and that's a heck of a lot better than two pieces of plastic.

I was looking at this package but couldn’t get past the price. I don’t see why these cost so much other than they’re the only ones making the plastic bushings. The toe rod field repair kit sounds like the way to go.

It's like he's added 100 dollars to the price every year while simultaneously stopping anyone else from making, what is a completely normal, unoriginal offroading component.

I have to wonder how he got a patent on a bushing, AND a tie rod brace, as both have existed forever.

Amazon has the same bolt on style braces for 59 dollars, and there is one other, slightly cheaper alternative for the bushing.

Save you roughly 600 dollars from these jokers.

Coincidentally that's what an extra OEM tie rod costs and I'd buy one of those instead.

We're going to need help from the Chinese to bring back cheap rack bushings. They don't care about Tyler's cease and desist letters.

Do you have a link for the braces? Are you sure he has a patent? Seems strange to be able to patent that.

His prices always remind of the dying days of the photo stores, when everything was outlandishly priced. As they went out of business, had to wonder what they expected to happen? Lots of cheaper and better options (including just keeping a spare tie rod/kit if you EVER need it). Really, if you're not sure looking at that page, you're likely not going to wheel hard enough to even find out if you need those things.

Yeah, I think it's the slightly overstated tie rod breaking gossip that's caused people to want to fix what ain't broke yet.

For me, the upgrade bug has me eyeing the sexy larger tires, and wanting to bolster ahead of the future so I can just swap out and not have to worry. But that said, I'd rather die than pay the prices that guy is asking for.

It simply isn't worth it.
