What pet accessories are you getting for driving your 4-legged friends around in your new Bronco?

I'm thinking I may buy something like this cargo net; so I can run errands with my dogs, and not worry about leaving them in my topless Bronco while I run into the store.

I can suggest something like this. It is much safer than a cargo net

For sure! I have harnesses with seat belt buckles for my car now; but I dont like to keep my dogs strapped in while I'm running into stores. They seem to chill out more if I unstrap them when I step out of the car for a few minutes.

I'm getting doggles. Ladybird doesn't seem to like hard wind in her face. At anything over about 45 mph, she takes her head out of the window and lays down.

At 125lbs my Trooper takes my the back of my jeep . When we go out with the top off he wears a harness that gets clipped to the cargo loops .
He loves to have the wind in his face , he will push his head out as far as possible. Even at 80 kph , he owns the wind .

The dog crate they have is epic, worth every penny. I bought two and am thinking off getting two more just in case.

I got a Carhartt covercraft for the way back. My dogs aren't on the move a lot though

I've been training them to get used to the Rex Specs for when the top and doors are off. 😁 I've got the lens out now to get them used to them. I have both smoked and rainbow lens for when we're off-roading.

Harnesses are great when you're stationary, but not all are going to save your pet in an accident.

Ok... So we put a screen grab of the failed harness without the rest of the video or context. The crash testing was done by the Center For Pet Safety. You can find them here with recommendations on crate sizing and harnesses.

That said, I have a harness and a seat hammock for the rear seats so he can walk around without damaging my seats and falling on the floor.
