Yikes. Looks like only way to get it to the road is dragging it backwards down the trail. Driver looking back and tires tracks going backwards.

All joking aside. Iā€™m glad this didnā€™t happen on the freeway at 80 mph. I personally had a mishap Saturday when my pipe wrench broke and we dropped my well pipe. No one got hurt and assume no one riding in the bronco got hurt either. Hard lesson learned. We got ahead of ourselves and I see people doing the same with their builds.

looks like the tie rods are just dangling from the spindles... like they were not properly tightened after the alignment from adding the tires... they vibrated loose and then catastrophic failure... i doubt this will be covered by warranty...
My brother-in-law had lift/tires/wheels and brakes done on his F150. About a month later, he heard a loud noise from the rear, followed by a blowout. Apparently the shop either didn't install the bolts in the caliper, or they came lose and vibrated completely out. Caliper came off the disc and hit the tire causing the blowout. Only thing holding onto the truck was the hose.

You can see the threads on the driver's side outer tie rod end. Passenger side is harder to tell, but it looks like someone parked it and unscrewed the tierods for a conviently distant picture. I see nothing broken. 2+2=6 here.

As people get these things modded and take them out to bounce them we are going to see more pictures like this. Good luck with the warranty.

Seriously, I'd be interested to hear exactly how this happened. This really hurts to look at.

This right here is why you never apply tire shine. This is what happens.

Since you mentioned this. I have not seen any steering link upgrades.
Just upper a arms, rear track bars, and lifts (coil or spacer)
I would love to have 37ā€™s, but I will wait for the right upgrade and 6 years once itā€™s paid off.
Camburg and RPG have them.

ratchet straps and a piece of pipe or a couple tree branches should do the trick. Wont drive but could to to the road. I would go backwards so the side loads are put on the rear axle while turning.
