Transfer case fluid 6800 miles in a 2023 Badland …

LV is notorious for changing color quickly, It’s just how the fluid is. So I wouldn’t base anything off color alone. You could change it in another 1000 miles and it would be much darker than new.
But either way, there’s nothing wrong with a little preventative maintenance.

I've smelled a slight burning smell too in the snow, but I think I've smelled the same from my F150 under the same conditions. Never in the dry, just in snow.

Dealer said there was nothing wrong, they said it could be undercoating but that doesn’t make sense since I undercoated it over a month ago. They stated that transfer case fluid should be changed only at 30k miles. Does that make sense
