Powder coated steel rear bumper is standard on BL.
BL owner here. Confirmed steel. (And just went outside and triple checked. It does have plastic trim pieces on the top, corners and license plate but the main bumper part is powder coated steel)

Also, I have a F150 that I daily drive in Sport mode and so far have not missed it one bit in my BL. Of course, I have a manual which is Self-Sport

Standard hardware includes aptly-named full underbody bash plates (to protect the underside of the truck), a heavy-duty front bumper and steel rear bumper, electronic-locking front and rear differential, front stabilizer bar disconnect, 7-mode driver-selectable G.O.A.T (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) system, and suspension settings unique to this trim.

from KBB.

It can be misleading when you have a plastic cover over the steel rear bumper.

All Ford had to do was NOT make the OBX dash copper and this would be the easiest choice I've ever made.

So it seems like the biggest differences besides price are really the off-road ability and protection vs styling and sport mode.

This is so true. Why does the dash have to be bronze?!

Personally - I like having the most off-road capable just so I know my rig has it - also I'm not a huge fan of color matching fender flares and mirrors on OB - another BIG factor for me is the MGV interior with the washout floors as it will be MUCH easier to clean and now that you'll have a soft top, even if you get caught in the rain the interior would be fine in BL

Also I'm like other people here where I don't like the OB interior

Definitely white. The neutral colors (Black, White, Cactus, Carbonized) all look great with the roast interior. Plus I think Area 51 with the blue interior is too much blue.

I think this one is Antimatter Blue but it looks black and looks awesome.

Well the flares won’t match cause it’ll be squatched but I get your point on the mirror caps.

You’re right about that antimatter blue with the roast interior. Looks good! 👍🏽 But the dash 🤦🏽‍♂️

Just wondering. Have you seen the OB dash in person or just pictures? I’ve seen an OB in person and I don’t remember the dash being objectionable but I‘ll admit I wasn’t really focusing on the dash. AMB with roast looks great though.

I think a fully optioned OBX will get you to WT specs, minus the interior colors
Yep. I've bounced back and forth between the two. OBX is closer to WT than BL is.
