I use the GPCA's on my Wrangler and would recommend them to anyone who plans on regularly removing their hard top.
I remove/replace mine regularly, depending on the weather, and find them to be faster/easier than using the ratchet. The handles have held up through quite a bit of use - but I have had to replace the thin rubber washer with a thicker, more durable set of plumbing washers from Lowe's.
That they also double as tie downs is an added bonus.

Second thread on this subject - also be aware that McMaster Carr has a variety of knobbed M8 bolts that’d work. Colors, comfort grip, etc.
These look good but you might want to consider the torque settings. Someone just posted about their rear glass strut snapping off. We really don't know how fragile the MICs are.
"To install, reverse the removal procedure. Torque the fasteners that secure the rear roof panel to your vehicle to 15 ± 2 lb.ft (20 ± 3 Nm). "

So are you are saying using my 1/2in drive 18v Milwaukee impact driver might be overkill?
No not really…..never have quality issues with McM-C; do, not infrequently, with A-dot-com.

I use mmc all the time. You are correct, not the cheapest, but almost always next day delivery but also not for free. But as a business user, mmc is awesome.

Similar but the ones I show are fixed without movement and the ones you show can move.Isn't that pretty much what these are?
