If I get the Engine Block Heater, will I have a cord always visible, sticking out from the front of the vehicle? I remember seeing extension cords sticking out from people's vehicles back in the 80s and 90s in Buffalo, but I don't know if that was inevitable, or laziness.

Anybody know?

The one on my Escape doesn’t. Wish it did! Was a PITA to plug in when it was -20 and snowing!

Velcro works great to keep it out of the way.
