After two years since my initial order, my Bronco Wildtrak has finally been issued a VIN and a build week in March and I'm stoked about it. After I'm able to do some shakedown runs locally in Appalachia, I intend to disappear into the wilds of Nevada and Idaho for a prolonged period of time in late spring or summer for off roading, mountain biking, and fly fishing. I'm going to have the hard top with roof rails, and I'll mount my ancient Thule square bars to the factory rails. I'm pretty sure I'll need a short hitch extender for my bike rack. Does anyone have any idea where I can carry extra gasoline? I have seen one set-up with jerry cans or some other jerry can-like container mounted to the side of the Bronco, but it appears to me that it might require a non-Ford roof rack system. I'm thinking maybe of looking for a can that I can just strap to the spare tire with a couple of cam straps. Suggestions appreciated.
