Extra this, extra that

I find myself compulsively adding stuff to my Bronco order as time goes by. I feel like I’m in line at the grocery store grabbing random crap at the register which I don’t necessarily need but because I have the time to kill and the add-on items look so scrumptious (darn you snickers), I can’t help myself.

I mean at this point why not. 22 build year here I come!

Spoke with my dealer and since I had her on the line, added leather to my package because why not.

Why not to me is because I don't want to pay $50,000 for a basic vehicle.

I feel you. I ordered mine with items not easily added later like LUX, leather, towing pkg, etc. Stuff like bumpers, rock rails, skid plates are all easy to add later. Get what you want in the vehicle, but don't stress too much about the "nice to haves" at this point.

I did notice the accessories that were once configurable during original builds are no longer an option. I think Ford realized the more basic an offering, the more realistic the vehicle deliveries

I started out with just adding the things I thought would be difficult to add aftermarket then I just decided to add everything I could so I wouldn't have to worry or second guess it.

There was a post a while back that showed this odd camo look to the Wildtrak cloth seats I was never fond of. This extra time we’re waiting to even have our Broncos scheduled means I can save more pennies and add more extras. Sorry Dave Ramsey.

If I had Wildtrack money, I'd be all over Outer Squatch for this reason, but it's Basequatch or BD for me.

I just did the opposite today after seeing the Bronco, and that was on the recommendation of the Ford employees accompanying the Broncos. The MGV felt and looked much better. The leather was showing quite a lot of wear already. I'll see if I can attach a photo.

By no means TERRIBLE, but the MGV in the other Bronco was produced the same week, had the same tour dates and sat in by same amount of people and it looked flawless.

The black leather seats on my ‘20 Mustang still looks good and I’m going on 9months of daily driving. I wonder if it’s just because of that ‘70s brown color that it’s more noticeable.
