I agree with most she said. The carbon tax is coming that will make everyone consider electric vehicles soon.

curious though, is there anyone that likes the aluminum bed over the old steel bed? I’d have to disagree with her there.

we can throw in next gen nuclear reactors if we want to talk about green, but then again there is the recycle arguments.
This is the only way forward. I can't even get into a serious conversation about clean energy with anyone who can't consider nuclear as part of the solution. By the time we make a full-scale push to electric vehicles, power needs will have already surpassed the ability of the infrastructure to manage it. I feel like we are running over the horse with the cart.

I live in the middle of the pacific anything that wont rust immediately is what I want.

Interesting point, I also live by the water
Depending on where you are on the island you can see the difference in how cars rust. In my area they rust from the inside first, where water finds its way in. In the valley by the harbor, its like slowly opening the ark in Raiders of the Ark. But on Lahaina side its a much slower patina.

Tesla makes more money selling emission credits than cars, today. As car makers increase their EV line up Tesla could suffer.
