The headlight switch is different. There's a button in the middle of the knob on fog light units. It's already been confirmed that the wiring for the fogs is there on the Mod bumper.

A new switch and changing a parameter via Forscan is all it should take, but someone needs to be the guinea pig.

B&P shows the difference.

Hi Mike, I found one of your older post talking about fog light instal using the factory harness then upgrading the non fog light switch to the center push headlight switch. An additional comment about updating with Forscan? I’m very old school so I get the part about upgrading the switch but Forscan is a computer upgrade? Does that have to be done at the dealer or is it a program that can be downloaded? I’m computer illiterate! I’ve been trying to search for more info and your post seem to be the best I could find.
I’ve seen many of your posts over time.
Thanks for any help

Forescan is a program to talk to the computer via the obd2 port. There are plenty of posts on here about it.

Resurrection from the past a little, but I'm looking to do this swap but when I looked at my switch I have a completely different part number for my 2025 Badlands; M2DT-13D061-HDW. I have the capable bumper without fog lights. When I search for the part number, I get no results anywhere.

M2DT–13D061-HDW is the correct engineering part number for your Badlands that has mirror spot lights but no Fog lights. You can tell that is an engineering part number because the 4th digit in the prefix is not a ā€œZā€ — a ā€œZā€ would indicate a service part number (e.g. M2DZ). Service part numbers sometimes have different middle digits than the engineering part number.

My 2023 Badlands with High package and mod bumper had the same M2DT-13D061-HDW switch - for all Broncos with spot lights in the mirror housing but no fog lights. If you want to add front fog lights to your 2025 Bronco, then you need to order service part M2DZ-11654-DC so you get a switch with the mirror spot light buttons and the center front fog light button:

Oh right on! Thank you @DarthLincoln. Appreciate it! Just wanted to make sure and wasn't going crazy trying to search for something.

OK - I get the need for the pigtails for those that have the connector behind the tow hooks. But what do those of us who don't have the connector behind the tow hooks do? I have a 2024 Big Bend with modular bumper (and tow package) but with no front sensors or auxillary switches, and I plan on having fog lights connected to the mini bull bar through the grille. Besides the pigtails, and the headlight/fog light dash plate, and the programming (via FORSCAN), is there a specific lighting harness that I can purchase to make this work?

can anyone point me to anything that shows what wire goes to what. I had the stock bumper with fog lights I replaced it with a modular and adding lights back in and I picked up a new pigtail (10 socket but only 3 used) to plug into the original harness. but 3 wires and 2 lights and not sure what will go to what. is it the 2 next to each other positive and the lone wire ground?
thanks
Paul

I assume this is the fog light wiring? :)

documenting in hopes it helps someone...
I have some bad news for 2025 owners. It appears that these pigtails do not exist in the wiring harness used on the Badlands Lux models with modular bumper.

The attached photos are of the drivers side tow hook area with the plastic trim cover removed on my 2025 Badlands Sasquatch with Lux package and you can see that there are no such pigtails beneath.

What is at the end of the harness tucked behind the bumper and near the lower bolt of the recovery point?

As far as I could see from that viewpoint, nothing. I am going to pull the skid plate so that I can get a better look from beneath.

Alright, I removed the skid plate a few minutes ago and confirmed that there aren’t any loose or capped off pigtails for fog light wiring in my 2025. I do have the modular bumper with parking sensors, a la the Lux package.

Here are some photos from driver and passenger side showing the view from below with the skid plate out of the way.

The visible wire on the driver side that runs into the shroud for the intercooler appears to be for the ACC adaptive cruise control radar assembly.

Since it appears that 25’s no longer come with the fog light harness in the bumper, is there any other solution out there to use the fog light switch?

Depending on the rest of the wiring, you likely may be able to simply order a 21-24 bumper harness. It depends if they changed or removed the circuit from where the bumper harness plugs in to the front main harness

Bought this vehicle used, so I dont have all the info needed to make this work. So I have a few questions that I hope some of you could answer. THe first owner installed some LED lights where the factory would go to AUX 1 and AUX 2 (white and orange). I can activate the fog lights via the headlight switch, but nothing happens. I do see the dash icon come on.
I have looked and looked for any type of connection under or around the tow hooks, since I have the modular bumper. I do not find anything.

I do see an unused connector located behind this area.

Looking up from below this, I see this. The black red yellow are for the new lights seen above, but there is an empty connector right by it. Its tucked up with no droop to move it around to take a picture of it clearly, but I wonder if this is my factory fog lamp harness.

Here is a picture of the colors of the wires leading into the harness if that helps.

Thanks for the advice.
