Factory roof rack as accessory coming in 30-60 days

I hear ya. Here's the thing. I had it on my build for 2021. When I went in to finalize the transition from 2021 to 2022, I changed only the color. Period. Did not REALLY check my build sheet and dang diggity, it go scheduled like two weeks later. It wasn't a constraint, or so I believe, but I wonder if it had been left on if my BL would have been passed over on 10/28.

I don't mind picking one up after the fact but I don't want to pay stupid money for ... and let's face it ... it is MY fault for not going over the sales order line by line to make sure EVERYTHING was on there. I checked for 2.7L, automatic, etc. the important stuff. Did not think to double check the factory roof rack. Somehow they dropped it but in the end, I OK'd it. So that's on me.

Is adding the rack to a 4-dr. badlands/2.7 really going to be that big of a deal? I understand that there may be limitations, but is it zero?

I'm thinking that after I have a hard top for my Badlands, I may just make a roof rack for it out of Unistrut.

I agree...total bullshit and another stupid hurdle I'll have to jump through. We were told we would have factory racks for 2022 and now some won't until we get our Bronco and they'll probably be triple the price.

This looks pretty nice, has better load numbers than the factory rack, and can be mounted as a rear half-rack if you want. If Ford doesn't get this rack thing sorted by the time I get my truck, I may seriously consider getting this one.
