Hey everyone. I had a well-known creator design a rectangular OEM style Badlands badge that I thought could compliment the BroncodepotUSA emblem. Now I’m struggling with placement and wonder if this is a case of less is more from a design perspective.

I welcome your thoughts

I like more of the retro look so it’s not for me.

I agree, mixing a retro sticker with a modern doesn't look great. I moved one of my stickers to my swing gate. I'm not sure I love it there either.

You did left aligned and right aligned. I think centered, with a tad more space between the bottom of the broncodepot logo and the top of the sticker might look good.

I plan to leave them both as is but I like the swing gate idea.

I am not a fan of the Bronco script.

i like it! the first placement looks better than third one. my self i would probably go with just the old school. but do like you redesign way more than the original

Also might look good on the grill.

That 2 door Cactus baddie is so badass!!

While I like the idea, I wonder if the Badlands sticker might look more at home next to the script Bronco if it were only shades of black and grey.

I think the rectangle badge goes a lot better with the script than the original triangle badge. Reminds me of the old Bronco Sport emblems. Probably would look weird, but I'd be interested in seeing it placed behind the script like this:

All that said, personally, I would keep that retro look a little cleaner and move the badlands badge to a different location on the vehicle.

I think it might look better if it was just a black cutout and the orange part was just your paint.

Less is more... That said, you might could take the red rectangle Sport that's behind the script and have Badlands in the Sport font with the red background. It's easily recognizable as vintage but with the modern trim level.

Thanks for the feedback. I took a photo of a centered-align but forgot to post it.

I hear ya. I kept the OEM badges in case I want to revert back at some point. So far I'm digging the Bronco script

Agree. I just have the classic Bronco script for now. Not sure I will be adding the custom decals

Thanks for the compliment. You may be right regarding the colors. The modern orange of the Badlands decal sorta clashes with the Bronco script. We'll see...

On top of the script next to the B
That was my original intention when asking for the redesign. Now I'm thinking it looks a little too busy

Agree. I removed the custom Badlands decal and just have the Bronco script. Maybe I will add to the rear tailgate

I'm onboard with less is more. Planning to keep it clean with just the Bronco script and might find a placement for the custom decal on the tailgate
