2.3 tuned will put out 320 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque total. Tons of fun to be had with a manual. I would rather have a manual with 2.3, than auto with 2.7, even though 2.7 would be more performance oriented.no lol
21 years working at Toyota... sorry to hear thatYou consider BD low end? Tell that to my 50k build. LOL
Giving the manual the boot may have been the goal from the beginning. Trust me corporate understands what they're doing.based on initial results (very small) seems like everyone has abandoned manual because there is no squatch
I can see ford not understanding this at a corporate level and axing manual all together.
Imagine how I feel! They've gotten stale and no fun.21 years working at Toyota... sorry to hear that
Had to do research, been decades since I had a non V8 (wife had a V6 Xterra) did my due diligence and the 2.7 seems to be as bullet proof as you can get in a turbo engine...The 2.7 being built with the turbo in mind during the design I think makes a difference.
I know there isn’t a ton of difference power wise between the 2 engines.
But why and how they were engineered I think makes a difference.
just my 2 cents that I’m sure don’t mean much.
