I'm getting 2.29% at Navy federal on a 72 month loan. Stretching so I can pay extra and kill the note in 48 months.
Why rush to pay down a low-interest loan when inflation is running 7% annually? 🤔 I would be doing the exact opposite. Let that credit work to your advantage. 🤷‍♂️

Ha Ha Ha! You're both right. I am not rushing...I'm giving the truck to my son for a "scholarship gift" since I don't have to pay for college. I wish to pay it off by the time he graduates so i can hand him the title free and clear. No other reasons...if market tanks, i will have no problem sitting back and making a half-way decent payment.

1.99 at td bank north, that was on Thursday of this past week. I have an 830 credit score and mentioned I could get it at that rate through a credit union. Match the rate, I go through the dealer, do not, and I go through the credit union. The dealer wil make some percentage off the rate I am sure.
