Totally agree, it makes the most sense. Say if they make 10 tops 7 goes to the line and 3 goes to the mountain or vise versa.IMO FE line runs and any extra capacity gets applied to Dirt Mountain FIFO. I think those two situations will run concurrently.
It’s his.Zach,

except it's Cactus GreyDarn it, that Oxford white BL is my build
What brand of soft top is that? Looks like a good one for my 86.Zach,

@Zach@Granger,
First of all, thank you for being so responsive and involved with the B6G Forum. I'm sure we're all very appreciative of the fact that you are taking time to respond to all of our inquiries.
Second of all, let's say I was hypothetically # 1000 (out of your total 1,200 or so orders), do I even have a chance of getting a 2022 Bronco based on your allocation numbers?
@Zach@Granger does.Zach,

Must be the light but in my phone it looks whiteexcept it's Cactus Grey
Exactly, every FE chassis will have a 2021 VIN number and every FE chassis must be produced before Ford switches to 2022 production.So you are telling me that if Ford can't build all the FE in 2021..... lets say they miss the mark by 500.... in Dec. they won't build the last 2021 FE in Jan. and still call them 2021....or tell the 500 FE people ..... sorry.... it 2022 and we won't build them..... like I said all FE will be 2021 models no matter when they are completed..... I remember when FE thought they were going to be first built....
I bet that Ford can do what every they want to.... and change any vin or and chassis number they want to.... just thinking ahead and anything is possible.... they could build the chassis and roll them out to dirt city....Exactly, every FE chassis will have a 2021 VIN number and every FE chassis must be produced before Ford switches to 2022 production.
Ford cannot backdate chassis production, but they do not have to complete the build in 2021. There have been cases where a 1960's chassis wasn't completed until decades later (Shelby IIRC as an example).
Honestly I can't tell if it's White or Grey.Must be the light but in my phone it looks white
If Ford can deliver the Mic 2.0 earlier than promised is a positive in my book. Moving the goal post are a negative in my opinion.must of missed it, but either way its kinda more goal post moving since this isnt what was stated in the Q&A livestream more Ford fluid
FWIW, I asked my dealer’s Bronco specialist about the top scheduling when I received a 9/20 production week for my FE as I was surprised at the pre-October date. She used the same language and stated that FE builds were being prioritized. I think your theory is correct.The only statement I recall reading that prioritized FE's was premierdrums.
I need to reread Ford's statement.
Good question, I can't help but think they will roll FE's down the line WHILE they are swapping tops on the DMG.
They could also build a space ship and call it a bronco and give it a vin.I bet that Ford can do what every they want to.... and change any vin or and chassis number they want to.... just thinking ahead and anything is possible.... they could build the chassis and roll them out to dirt city....
