On the Bronco or in general?
First "mod" was a Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel on my 71 Camaro.

First Bronco "Mod" (term is used quite liberally these days) was aftermarket wheels, followed by lighting additions to the cowl and front bumper. And it snowballs from there.
You'll be adding a table, grab handles, vinyl, lift, skids, on and on once you start.
May the odds be in your favor.
Agree on going 4-barrel!

However, based on observation of B6g, the first modification simply MUST BE accent colored recovery shackles for the front bumper.

Looking back at all I’ve done so far most enjoyable is exhaust. I changed my speakers and I’m wiring the amp this weekend. See how it sounds after that. Besides that put a lot of time in color matching parts, changing out badges and such. Think someone could color coordinate a vehicle in 2022 but shit, they can’t even deliver them. Then the center console organizer. That helped out too. Ceramic coat turns it into a 10 minute wash and blow dry.

Same thing I do on almost all new vehicles, ditch the absolute garbage soft/squishy factory tires and put on decent ones.

My first mod was rejetting the carb on my '71 Mach 1. Second mod was shaving the heads. Six miles to the gallon, but hit 3rd and hang on. I have no idea how I lived through those years.

Never "modified" a vehicle in my life. Have taken my BL Sas off road a couple of times now and excited to do something to it just to get my feet wet. Thinking about something simple to get started. Lighting in the bumper seems logical and easy but also looking at compressor in the engine bay. Anyone remember back to what they did for their first trip into the modification world?

You have to decide what you like and want to spend. Some mods can be simple like a new antenna or painting the grill. Some can be expensive and time consuming. Best answer I could give you is to search all the forums and websites to find what you like. It really is addicting.
