on top of the rear fender, the door passes on top. if you have a thick later of hard snow or ice, that will stop the door from opening.

Mud flaps could help if they are long enough. The front tires are kicking up the snow/slush.

The window drop down hasn’t been an
issue, even with snow melting/re-freezing overnight.
Frozen buildup on the rear fender flare (4 door) will prevent the rear doors from opening. Hoping that something like 303 protectant or similar will help the flares shed buildup.
I have the drop-down window thing on my Challenger also. I can tell you that my Windows have frozen UP, so that I had to pull against a very stiff window deal (at the top) to get the door open.

I'm planning on just cracking the drivers side window in a hard freeze situation - like when I'd leave the wipers raised off the window. I hope that the seal is just wide enough to keep snow from blowing in the window if I leave it down that 1/4 inch or so.

Another option - if you have it - is to remote start the Bronco and let it warm up enough to open the door without issue.

The Challenger gets the Garage, so the Bronco will have to brave the elements. Good thing it's 'Build Ford Tough', I guess.

So inevitably making it a 2-door. Then you can try to hang out with the cool kids in the 2-door crowd until it melts :p

mud flaps won't do anything. snow falls from the sky. even over night there could turn to ice and you are stuck. but plastic fender flares should flex a bit so the ice should crack and pop off.

True enough. But it might help cut down on build-up from driving.
