Hey all, just used ForSCAN for the first time to update my 24' Badlands.

Disabled Double Honk, added DRL's, Turn Signal, volume down, and then added Sport Mode. The first ones all worked well, but when I added Sport Mode via

ABS | 760-04-03 | xxxx xxxx x*--

Changed the * from a 9 to the letter B and clicked write. Some things clicked and beeped but it said successful. It said there was an ABS error. I started the Bronco and was able to see Sport Mode was added.

Is it okay to clear that DTC? Here is the code below:

Code:
Code: U3003 - Battery Voltage

My general take on DTSCs

First time I see them, I take note of them - then attempt to clear.

If they don't come back, I don't worry too much, could just be some random computer garbage from unhooking a connector or EMI or anything.

If they do come back - time to start digging.

The one about the heater in particular will usually pop up and lock in if you've ever had your windshield replaced.

And the Battery voltage one could pop up for a lot of different reasons.

I'd just try to clear and see if they return.

I cleared them and went for a drive to test everything. Sport mode is awesome, but my fuel gauge didn’t really care for it ha.
Everything seemed to run fine. Thanks for your help.

A little OT but is there a sticky or a good thread on Forscan, how to get it etc, etc. I've read bits and pieces about it with what seems to be different info. I'm new to Bronco and a "modern" auto so...

I was kind of like you, reading bits and pieces here and there until it all started to make sense. Search on YouTube for some video's and read the stickies. I know some of them are 50+ pages long, but try and at least read through the main post. What took me a bit to realize is that most of these reference the F150, but apparently Ford made the codes universal for the F150 and Bronco (with some differences).

Download ForSCAN
ForSCAN Tutorial - From Sticky

Then just look at the two Google Sheets that were created. Find what you want then search the forums to verify that its still the correct info. Backup everything (AS BUILT files) before you start.

Livnitup's FORScan - 2021-24 F150 - this was last updated March 2025

When I added Sport mode to my 25 Badlands I got a DTC in the ABS and PAM modules as well.

After I cleared it, I haven't had any issues with it
