Fog light issue

Ive had my sas bd now for a couple months and have thought I was going to get away with no new car issues. I haven’t modded it much (level kit, stole tow hooks off my expo and put them on the back so now I have two, and installed led lights on the rear mirror accessory mount points).

So, this morning was the first time driving in the dark and I noticed the fog lights would randomly turn off. They wouldn’t come back on for a minute or two then would come back on when I selected them on. Anyone have this issue? Haven’t gone to the dealer yet but expect them to say “can’t reproduce the issue”.

It may have to do with the auto on/off bright lights setting… granted, I’m only speculating because I don’t have fog lights.

Did you have auto lights on?

Did you have auto hi beams on?

Most likely just your truck doing it’s thing

You are probably right! I completely forgot about the auto high beams. Never had a vehicle with automated stuff. Ill see if it was my own ignorance Thanks!

Are the auto high beams only on lux? I'm mid, and surprised that I don't have auto high beams....

You do have them. I have BB mid. Fog lights go out when auto HB come on.

All trims have have auto beams.

Well, not as dumb as I thought. I had that set to on. Wondering if I have a bad sensor now.

Thx, @Boreal ! Yeah, have to cycle thru the stalk a few times and bam, there it is. Now that is one weird-ass setup I must say.

I’m pretty sure you can go into Forscan and turn off the fog lights turning off with high beam. I’ve seen a few videos on YouTube on it.
