Hey Zach! I have a question. Bronco delivered the end of April 2022. Purchased the ESP to finance with my Bronco. Decided to change the ESP term so the dealership cancelled the ESP and refunded me some and sent the balance to my loan provider. I now pay ford directly on a monthly basis but I’d like to extend the term again. What are my options? My dealership told me I could but would lose the money I’ve already paid ~$600. I know, I totally mucked this up people…no flames, please!!

I was checking this out and was surprised to find a dilemma.... Years vs Mileage...

How is a person supposed to know? For example, what good is a 10 year plan if you will mileage out in 5 years?

And what does Mileage have to do with my Radio? Years are more important.

Great questions. It is all dependent upon your personal driving habits. You don't want to over or under-insure.

Be realistic with yourself on your estimates. How long have you kept your previous vehicles? Approximately how many miles do you drive a year?

If you plan on keeping it for the long haul and put 10,000 miles on in a year. a 10 year 100,000 mile plan makes sense for you.

If you drive 20,000 miles a year and have a history of trading up every 6 years, then a 6 year 120,000 mile plan makes the most sense.

It is not a one-size fits all "best value" proposition. But looking back at your driving habits will give you the best bang for your buck on a contract.
