Well, it is also a Jaguar model. Just not the XJ under discussion here. Jeeps have a 2 letter designation that tells their model and generation, but it's not the model name they are sold under.

As an example both a TJ and a CJ are "Wranglers" but the TJ is the generation after the CJ. So Jeep guys will generally say they have a TJ when looking for parts instead of saying "a '95 Wrangler"
