explain what? The Bronco DR is 250K and is a full blown race truck and you can't drive it on the road. There is nothing on the DR is remotely similar to the Bronco except the name >> Bronco.

engine, trans and drive line is a custom build. I bet to the lucky 50 who buy them will be fitted with special seats.

250K is a full blown race truck supported by a manufacturer which you can take to the baja 1000 is cheap. Most baja trucks are in the 500K range.

You will not be able to take the Warthog to the baja 1000 as it will break.

So the previously announced as of last week $200K Bronco DR with a 5.0L V8 is 400HP and the more "affordable" (subjective term) Bronco Raptor will be a turbo charged V6 with 450* HP (*suposably, depending on the source).

I need someone who repeatedly tells people how smart they are to explain this to me.

The Bronco Raptor, available in the summer of 2022, is rumored to be equipped with a V-6 EcoBoost engine upgraded from the base offering. If this rumor is true, and shares the same level of improved horsepower of the F-150 Raptor, you could expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 horsepower – not too shabby.

Sitting on 37s, the Bronco Raptor is taller from factory than any of the current 6-gen Broncos, and keeping with the trademark Raptor stance, much wider. Beefed up suspension and the iconic, and often copied front grille with the amber lights and more aggressive exterior styling. Source - bronconation

I like it. Especially the upgraded lower control arms and stance. Looks similar to F-150 Raptor lower control arms.

I very much like this grill over what our bronco's are getting. I couldn't care less about the ambers on there. I just like the design and that it says ford instead of Bronco. Also, this is the Mod bumper the badlands should've come with. I mean FOG LIGHTS FOR GODS SAKE.

I was kind of hoping someone would explain the part where the turbo V6 is 450 HP and is on the consumer friendly rig and the 5.0L V8 is 400 HP comes with the $200K off road only (WINK) dessert racer.

would have liked to see more girth in the body panels and less tacked on flares...
Agreed, but difficult to do with the rear doors.

how do you know it is 25K more? 25K more would be more than the GEN3 Raptor. Do you think Ford would price this above the F150 Raptor?
My guess is it starts out at 60k.

Its 2MM larger tie rod shafts, the rack itself looks like its the same size.... kind of a let down.
I remember the sign specifically saying the rack was upgraded as well, but I definitely couldn't tell the difference without a standard one sitting right next to it.

I am #16 at Granger but #1 at another dealership .. I will most likely drop from Granger so you will be 88.

:)
Lol I'm 17th thanks to you but I'm also #1 at the dealer I have my Badlands reserved through. We'll see how everything pans out. All things being equal I'd rather buy from Granger just because driving back to Cali would be fun but we'll see.

I bet the DR is 1000 pounds lighter so 400hp will be good power. Also the desert is not kind to turbos.

Go read the specs of the DR so you don’t have to deal with any online attitude.

btw … every car forum keeps saying 200k when the press release says mid 200k. Our subconscious always round down. Like when gas is2.99 per gallon and we just see $2

😬

That is what I suspected. Thanks for taking the attitude out of it this time.
