Ford Performance winch question.

Anyone know why Ford claims the winch package can't be added to a modular bumper that was not added at the factory. It's right on fords page that it must be a factory installed modular bumper. My parts guys and techs at my dealership have know idea either. I've picked up a modular take off and Ford performance winch package to replace my capable bumper on my 23 wildtrak. Hope I haven't screwed up.

You didn’t screw up
You will lose your front parking sensors
You can drill the right size hole for the sensors in the winch tray to get them back and working
You will also need to buy a relocation kit for the adaptive cruise control,
