In my experience… it is fine with the front parking sensors as long as you get the module reprogrammed at the dealer (or program it yourself with FDRS). It will block the front camera a bit but it’s still usable in my opinion. You can also relocate the front camera fairly easily if you utilize the front camera often. (In my opinion the side cameras are far more valuable than the front, but to each their own.)

However, it does not play nicely at all with adaptive cruise control. You can relocate the ACC sensor too, but it once you do that, the adaptive cruise control system never works quite right. So those with Lux are screwed.

BUT, yeah… the reason why I got the Mid package was to try to avoid all of the issues that come with aftermarket upgrades and sensors.

Here's a video on that topic. If you have ACC and / or camera, you're out of luck. Ford missed the mark by not putting the camera and ACC somewhere else on the vehicle.

The tough part is the ACC is awesome! I have the LUX and enjoy all the features. BUT also would like a winch.

No and no. U need a camera relocation kit and need to disable the front sensors, which u can do in the settings menu
Or relocate them to the front of the winch bumper. You can see the sensors on mine. I also used the JCR camera relocation kit but had to ditch the bull bar. due to fitment issues with the JCR.

How did u relocate the sensors on the ford setup? That’s something I haven’t seen. Mountains2Metal makes a front camera relocation kit that is designed to work perfectly with the ford winch mount. It’s also cheaper than JCR

Dealership did it based on a thread from here that I sent them. I will look for it.

Awesome! You just sold me on this JCR solution. I was originally looking at after-market front winch bumpers and I am just struggling with balancing the cost versus effort. I research the piss out of everything and all the solutions I have looked at, there is a ton of extra cost and effort to buy additional accessories to make something work.......ACC, cameras, parking sensors, etc. I think the capable bumper isn't a bad looking bumper and this JCR solution appears to be cost-effective and relatively simple. I am going to use my money to then get a good rear bumper with swing-out tire carrier and after market wheels/tires instead.
