Hi Guys,

I have been getting quotes for lifting my 2023 Black Diamond Sasquatch 2.7 4 door to fit 37 inch tires. I have gotten a few quotes but also decided to reach out to a local ford dealer that lifts trucks and does after market stuff. Anyway I was advised that they do not recommend putting 37 inch tires on my year/ model. I was told

"2023 Bronco traction control Software on the Hoss 1.0 will have issues adapting to the 37" tires".

I am looking to see if others have heard this? What was your experience if you have the same year/ model and lifted?

Thanks in advance for your insight and thoughts.

Tell him you're fine since you have HOSS 2.0 🙃.

Thanks for the tremendous amount of help. lol. I have been searching adding 37 inch tires and have not heard anything about traction control problems.

I think the factory Sasquatch came with the Hoss 2.0 and not the 1.0 Your Ford Dealer should know that, unless it was not a factory Sasquatch. You might want to look for another Dealer for a second opinion.

37s take some work to fit properly, but no, never heard of any issues with traction control. The Bronco traction control is pretty lame to begin with … so not like you would really notice if it did get worse.

I put 38s on my 2023 non-SAS Big Bend this year. I did upgrade the suspension and stuff though.

Maybe your dealer is worried about the Bilstein recall?

It's fair to say that there are a number of reasons not to run 37s on a HOSS 1.0 Bronco (insufficient shock/spring, tie rods, steering rack, M190 differential, etc) none of them have ANYTHING to do with the traction control.

A dealer should never recommend a mod that could stress/break something.. 37's are additional rotating mass, tougher on steering components, tougher on bearings (with additional wheel offset), can rub things, etc.

That being said, I'm 25,000 miles in on 37's with a 21 badlands sasquatch. you will be fine, just don't get the front tires all bound up in the rocks with the front locker engaged, driving like an asshat, etc..

p.s. the only stupid question is the one not asked.
