This is like comparing apples to orange with pre-orders with the Bronco vs Maverick.

The Bronco got 150k+ reservations at the start of COVID in 2020 in a day or two. It was supposed to be in production December of that year but didn't actual hit the market till July 2021 due to a whole host of issues. Then add in the MIC top fiasco on top of it and there was no way Ford was going to hit its numbers in 2021 for it.

The Maverick launches later on and Ford has better insight to what is going on in the market with it and cuts it off....partly due to what happened to the Bronco.

The other thing that lots of people are discounting here is that later in the year Ranger production will taper off due to changeover to the new Ranger that should launch next Spring. That will open up more space for Bronco production and hopefully get everyone that is still waiting caught up.

my dealer has 2 broncos as demos and 1 maverick. If 5 customers walk into the dealership 4 wants to test drive the Maverick and only 1 ask about the bronco.

That's interesting. I guess I'm too deep in the Bronco bubble I would never think that.

I think they are confused with the Bronco Sport that share the same platform but not The Bronco.

Although is true that Ranger balance out is coming soon. I don't think that space on the production line is what is making the Bronco production go slower. Commodity constrains are the ones that make the production line to stop regularly. Therefore, I don't know if not having the Ranger on the line will make it faster for the Bronco production.

You're right!! Covid has been too long in our life that I even started to loose the perception about the time around it.

I wish they'd do the same for the Bronco until they work through the current reservations in fucking order.

That would be the smart thing to do....but...instead they add the Bronco Raptor. IMO, get caught up with all current orders first especially those from week 1 reservations.

I stand corrected, Bronco starts at $29K for model year 2022. I apologize for not not changing pricing from MY21.

Your unawareness on this is news to me, we better get a representative from Ford on here to confirm if their site is wrong.
