I thought I’d give it another try today and all 3 of my vehicles on my account are there now and I’m able to switch between all 3 to make them do things

But we all have to pay for it one way or another whether or not we use it or not.

How so? It’s free to everybody.

Unless you are implying that Ford is incorporating the cost of development into the price of their vehicles, which I‘m sure is true. But if you really don’t want to pay that, you don’t have to.

All you have to do is ask your sales guy to knock $1 off the price of a new Bronco because you don’t want to pay for FordPass. I promise you, he’ll shake your hand on that deal!

Buck a vehicle is probably a very generous estimate for how much it costs you so the rest of us can have the FordPass app. Remember, it’s not only for Bronco. So add up every new Ford sold in the past 4 years and times a buck….probably pretty close.

Its gone. Such a great feature in a crowded parking lot.

I miss sercurialert too.

Every other manufacturer displays the door lock status.

It‘s sad the app had MORE features 2 years ago.

I like the response times. However, they are pushing google maps. If you want to view vehicle location its only shared with google maps. Prior version was just an address that would open with your preferred maps app, in my case apple maps.

I can assure you every other manufacturer does not show door lock status. Ram's app is garbage. All it does is try to sell you crap and set service appointments. Definitely no door lock status.

This app is a train wreck. While superficially a visual improvement. Too many features are gone or buried. Finding the tire pressure is an adventure in poor design. Do you have an extended warranty? Ford Pass no longer cares. You get alleged mileage remaining but no fuel tank gauge? For a brief period you could revert to the previous version but I noticed this morning that was no longer available.
