The seat belt? I thought that was only doable for rear passenger.
I have a 2 door, so maybe that changes things 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did both passenger and driver side, it was like insert 3 times and then, leave it until It flashes in the dash, or something like that. You just need to sit in the seat you wanna disable when you do it.

What you’re describing sounds like…oh, never mind. 😆

I have no idea what you’re talking about. Insert what?

The seat belt latch.

1) Sit in the seat you want to disable the chime for. (you will have to do it individually for all seatbelts you want to disable)

2) Push the ignition button with the key in the truck and without pressing the brake pedal. (So the ignition is on without the truck running)

3) Wait for the seatbelt light to go out.

4) As soon as the seatbelt light goes out buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 or 4 times until the seatbelt light comes back on.

5) Buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt one last time, the seatbelt light will flash a few times letting you know you did it right.

Reset it. Push and hold the window button down to lower the window, when it goes all the way down, continue to hold the button for five seconds. Then pull the window button up to close the window and hold it until it closes all the way and continue to hold for five seconds. One cycle of this works for me, but some on here say they go through that cycle twice. Regardless, it has always reset the windows for me when they start to act up.
Thanks, will definitely be giving this a try (y)

Can someone update the speadsheet with the below information?? I realized while working on this video that I apparently don't know the difference between my "right" and "left". 🙃

I just replaced left/right with driver/passenger.

  • Front Speakers: xx**-xxxx-xxxx
    • 2B = As-Built
    • 3B = Driver speaker disable (disables ACM)
    • 2F = Passenger speaker disable
    • FF = Front-disable
  • Rear Speakers / Sub: xxxx-**xx-xxxx
    • 14 = As-Built (6-speaker)
    • 16 = As-Built (7-speaker)
    • 00 = Full-range to rear pods* (6-speaker)
    • 02 = Full-range to rear pods* (7-speaker)
    • 34 = Passenger pod disable (6-speaker)
    • 36 = Passenger pod disable (7-speaker)
    • 1C = Driver pod disable (6-speaker)
    • 1E = Driver pod disable (7-speaker)
    • FE = Sub-only (7-speaker)
    • FC = Pods & Sub disable
For the rear speaker pod(s) there was another thread that indicated a "2" was the option for full-range (passenger side) and a "A" for full-range with the Amp/sub activated. is it possible that the programming is different for the 2023 model year? My base model came with the subwoofer delete from Ford, but i want to add that back in with the Factory Fusion AMP and a 6.75 Kicker?

2 is the correct option. A is the correct option if you have a speaker and a tweeter sharing the same channel (which you won't unless you have multiple speakers sharing the same channel).

I have a bunch more information here:

How do I backup my current settings in order to restore them later if something goes wrong?

And also, when a value in the spreadsheet is set with - signs (eg c—), what does it means? What value do I enter?

Where can I read about the meaning of the values in the spreadsheet?
For example what “—“ means?
can anyone please postan example ofsome random as built data before and after such a change?

My understanding is the asterisks are the locations that need the revised codes. The Xs are the other values you don’t change and the - is a last couple of digits that the system rewrites as a confirmation as the system checks periodically to make sure there’s no data corruption. (Checksum)

So do I simply enter — where it says as the new value?
Because I don’t see anywhere else in the asbuilt data that is has those chars at all

For a specific example, if you want to disable DRL With Fog you have to put 01 somewhere. The ** is where that goes. You can (and should) ignore the Xs and the -s.

BdyCM
726-38-02
**xxxxxxxx--DRL With Fog: 00=Enable 01=Disable

So, instead of (for example)

0012 3456 7890

you would change it to

0112 3456 7890

I wonder why not to just write xxxx as well (instead of xx—), it’s just confusing if it has the same meaning

do you know how a complete backup is made?
I see that some comments here says to just write down the values prior to changing them but it sounds like there is a simpler way..?

Because the values at -- will change based on the values entered into the other spots, they are a checksum value.
