If there’s a part shortage (computer, visors, maybe even something as simple as a wiper arm), they will continue to crank them off the assembly line, then store and stage them close by for when the parts come in. Then they will run them down final assembly and inspection, and release them to the shipping companies. They don’t stop the assembly line for small details
At least that’s how they used to do it 20 years ago

I guess I should have posted about this. I was visiting my hometown in mid September, which had me flying in and out of DTW. There were a ton of Broncos parked there at that time, as well. What stood out to me at the time was the seemingly large number of Heritage Editions I saw. I just assumed this was an already-known staging area and it was normal to be so full, but perhaps not. :ROFLMAO:
