Front Door Hinge Paint

I saw a video of a cyber orange 4 door with the front doors off. The top door hinge on both sides was not painted. It had an overspray look to it. I am curious if others are seeing the same when you take the doors off. I am hoping this is a one off, but wanted to check with those of you who have taken delivery.

Doug, depending on when the video was shot that could be a pre-production model. Some on those showed some pretty bad workmanship.

It’s what happens when you paint a vehicle with the doors on. I guess Ford didn’t think this one through. They didn’t think a lot through the design phase.

I have seen several pics like this. It looks like the paint was never intended to go deep inside and thats why the plastic filler trim that hides the inside of fender. Disappointing to see it and hope it is corrected. The thing I dont hear people talking about though is that every picture showing anything under or not a directly painted panel there is something rusting. Bolt heads, threads, drive shaft coupling. That is very upsetting to see that as owners somehow it is our responsibility to find a way to keep our 50 or 60 thousand dollar vehicle from looking 20 years old in a season

From my 2022... Definitely better than what is posted earlier in the thread but I'm still not thrilled and scheming resolution.
