I've seen Front Locker Axle Assemblies available for sale via Ford, w/the 4.46 gearing for around $2500.

Could those Assemblies be swapped into my Black Diamond later?

I would need a Switch Kit for it of course.

Yes, no problem. Can be found for less. Will need Procal for FAD delete if yours has FAD. Easy to use an AUX switch for the locker.

Would using an aux switch for it work the same as the factory switches for the lockers? I know from one of the older deep dives into the lockers that they do not use a constant voltage when it comes to initially locking and keeping the locker engaged. I'm curious to know if the factory locker switch is interpreted differently by the computer than the aux switch.

So far no one has reported any issues with conventional wiring.

Yes the 4.46 with e-locker is around $1900, however you are closer to $2600 last I checked once you add the cv's and drive shaft. They also now have a $300 switch/wiring kit, but I'm sure most could figure that part out for much less.

My dilemma is do I go the that route, or go ahead and upgrade to 5.13's but that could be closer to $4-6k depending on how I did the rear end.

Several here have stated their M190 driveshaft works fine with the M210.

Good to know!
I always wondered why there would be a difference.
